Hello list,
I am currently using our Nagios 3.5.0 server to monitor our Asterisk servers.
Our monitored services include SIP peers, like, to see if a certain peer is alive and well through Nagios, using NRPE. However, this only works for a local peer.
Is there any way for me to monitor remote peers? Asterisk's CLI can do this, but I suspect I don't have enough knowledge to change the Perl/Bash/whatever script I am using.
Checking if one Asterisk server can reach another is not sufficient, since they can talk to each other through ICMP but not make calls between each other.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Bruno Martins
